The idea of flashing graphic equalizers on the shirts with the help of specially made electroluminescent panels that are backed up be three AAA batteries, is now being caught by marketing gurus to promote products. While the original concept was conceived to make it as a casual wear to parties and occasions, it has now become a promotional aid for products. The flexible electroluminescent panel with appropriate design on it is embedded on the shirt and is sensitized by the beat of the sound.
To synchronize with the beat of the music, the equalizers prop up, much like in the music system, to attract the onlookers. Products that were offered early include the popular Tqualizer Skull shirts and the 3D arrow shirts that caught the imagination of one and all. On popular demand from women, shirts in pink with black hearts were designed exclusively for the fairer sex. As the last stage in the progression, the products are being custom created by clients to represent their products and companies. The 100% cotton shirts are soft and comfortable to wear, the electroluminescent panel being weightless, it does not add weight to the shirts. Caution has to be taken in not maintaining the shirt by machine wash.
